Stonebridge Associates is comprised of a select group of investment bankers who are highly focused, entrepreneurial and committed to the highest standards of professional service. With an average of over 15 years of investment banking experience, our senior professionals have been responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating and closing a wide variety of public and private transactions. Each client assignment is staffed with at least one senior investment banker who manages the project through to completion. Additionally, since our senior staff is highly interactive, all clients continually have access to all of our senior investment bankers as needed.
Richard A. Harvey, Jr.
Senior Advisory Director
The firm's president since 1992 and an accomplished investment banker with more than 30 years' experience, Rich Harvey specializes in providing expert strategic and financial advice to middle market companies. Having advised on more than 200 transactions over the course of his career, Mr. Harvey has developed a deep understanding of the unique market dynamics and financing challenges facing public, private, and family-owned businesses. Prior to joining Stonebridge Associates, Rich managed Lehman Brothers' investment banking activities in New England. An experienced industry speaker and expert witness, he serves as director on the boards of Nabi Biopharmaceuticals and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, an affiliate of The Hershey Company. Rich is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth, where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar and the recipient of the Charles and Lillian Leach Award for Excellence in Finance.

Robert N. Cronin
Senior Managing Director
Bob Cronin is a founding member and Senior Managing Director of Stonebridge Associates, where he heads the technology practice group. In this role, he exclusively advises early-stage and emerging growth technology companies. With more than 20 years of investment banking experience, Mr. Cronin has successfully executed a variety of M&A, capital raising, and advisory assignments on behalf of a broad range of software, hardware, Internet and information technology companies. He joined the firm after receiving an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College where he was named an Edward Tuck Scholar. Mr. Cronin received a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Mitchell B. Briskin
Managing Director
Mr. Briskin's experience includes extensive corporate finance activities for middle market companies, and he manages the firm's healthcare practice. Prior to joining Stonebridge, Mr. Briskin was a Principal with Concord Investment Partners, a private equity investment group affiliated with Chase Capital Partners and focused on acquiring middle market companies in a wide range of industries. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer of General Chemical Corporation, where he led a turnaround of this regional chemical distribution and environmental services company. Prior to that, he practiced law at the New York law firm of Patterson, Belknap, Webb and Tyler. Mr. Briskin holds a B.A. in History from Wesleyan University, a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard University School of Business Administration.

James W. Chung
Senior Technology Analyst
As a founding member, Mr. Chung is the Senior Technology Analyst of Stonebridge Associates and advises the firm and its technology clients on strategic issues relating to private equity or merger and acquisition transactions. His principal areas of focus are enterprise software and hardware systems and data communications technologies. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chung was a technology strategy consultant for clients including Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) and the Defense Science Board of the U.S. Government. Previously, he was an engineering group manager at BBN Systems and Technologies Corp. developing real-time applications and system software and hardware for distributed simulation systems running on local and wide area networks. Mr. Chung holds undergraduate and graduate engineering degrees from Harvard College and Stanford University, respectively and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Annette O. Vaughan
Principal
Annette focuses on advising clients in the middle market and healthcare sectors, and heads the firm's family business practice. Prior to joining Stonebridge Associates, Annette received her M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College where she was named an F.W. Olin Fellow. Previously she was Legislative Director for New Hampshire Congressman Charles F. Bass in the U.S. House of Representatives and a Summer Associate at Fidelity Ventures. Annette graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics from the University of New Hampshire.

Stefanie A. Dhanda
Principal
A founding member of Stonebridge Associates, Stefanie provides transaction and strategic advisory services to organizations in the consumer, healthcare, and industrial sectors. She also manages the company's relationships with private equity firms and has been instrumental in launching several strategic marketing initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, Stefanie worked as a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Finance Group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated in New York, where she focused on M&A and initial public offerings for companies in the retail sector. Stefanie graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a concentration in Operations & Strategic Management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Ginny L. Caggiano
Vice President, Marketing
Charged with overseeing Stonebridge's marketing activities, Ginny specializes in developing and executing targeted marketing and public relations (PR) strategies. Possessing more than 15 years' experience, she is the former Principal of Caggiano Consulting, Inc., where she was a valued and sought-after resource amongst dozens of Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to joining Stonebridge, Ginny served as the Director of Marketing for Integral, Inc., a management consulting firm founded by the former dean of Harvard Business School. The recipient of several awards for her marketing campaigns, Ginny holds a degree in Marketing and Communications from Babson College.

David Culbert
Senior Financial Analyst
Prior to joining the firm, David worked as an associate at Viant Capital, in San Francisco, California. While at Viant, David specialized in M&A advisory and capital raising across various industry sectors, including healthcare, renewable energy, software, Internet, and consumer products. David received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College.

Jose J. Perez
Senior Financial Analyst
Prior to joining the firm, Jose worked as an analyst with Flatirons Capital Advisors in Dallas, Texas. In this capacity, he focused on providing M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory services to middle market clients across the financial services, hospitality, and technology sectors. Jose was also part of United Investment Managers (UIM) private equity group where he helped roll out UIM's fund-less sponsor practice that was focused on mezzanine debt and growth equity investments. Jose graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Economics.

Henry W. Barnard
Advisory Director
Mr. Barnard is a founding member of Stonebridge and assists in the firm’s business development activities. He joined the firm after managing Bank of Boston’s Private Placement Group for seven years. He previously worked in the Corporate Finance Department at Blyth Eastman Dillon in New York; and in investment research at Lombard, Odier & Co., a private bank based in Geneva, Switzerland; and W.H. Newbold’s Son & Company, a Philadelphia brokerage firm. Mr. Barnard holds a B.B.A. from Roanoke College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
