Stonebridge Associates Advises RYPOS, INC.
on $8.0 Million Financing
BOSTON, Massachusetts—November 12, 2009—Stonebridge Associates recently advised RYPOS, Inc., a leading manufacturer of active exhaust control systems, on their $8.0 million financing with Craton Equity Partners, a leading southern California clean technology fund. RYPOS, Inc.’s unique, patent-protected emission control technology significantly reduces the pollution created by diesel engines.
In its advisory role, Stonebridge helped RYPOS secure the equity investment required to expand operations—equipping them to meet the increased demand for diesel particulate filters resulting from California’s clean air initiatives and emerging EPA regulations. Led by Senior Managing Director Bob Cronin, the Stonebridge team identified sources of capital for RYPOS and negotiated the final transaction with Craton Equity Partners.
