on SALE TO GENERAL KINETICS ENGINEERING CORPORATION
BOSTON, Massachusetts—February 23, 2010—General Kinetics Engineering Corporation (GKE), a leading manufacturer of suspension components and systems for military vehicles, acquired Active Shock, Inc. (ASI) a provider of semi-active suspension and vibration control systems, for an undisclosed amount on December 31, 2009.
Stonebridge Associates, a boutique investment bank serving emerging growth technology companies, served as exclusive financial advisor to ASI in this transaction. In this capacity, Stonebridge worked closely with ASI to evaluate several preemptive inquiries, structure an overall transaction framework, negotiate deal terms and conditions, and manage the due diligence and closing processes.
